Thiago has a degree in Production Engineering, a graduate course in statistics and a degree in administration from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF). Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma, worked with methodologies for cost reduction and process optimization at Votorantim Metais, subsequently joining MRS Logística as a trainee, where he held positions of manager and specialist in continuous improvement. With Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification and ISO 9001 Auditor Lead Advisor, attended several companies in consulting projects, in addition to training and lectures related to Lean Six Sigma, Career Entrepreneurship in nationally renowned congresses such as ENEGEP (National Meeting of Production Engineering) and international as International Six Sigma Brazil congress. Availability</h3>Availability is an indicator that takes into account all downtime on the production line. These are events that do not happen daily, such as maintenance stops, periods when the material is missing for production, setup and others.Considering that each shift has 1 separate hour for meals, the company&#39;s total standard production time is 21 hours per day.However, it is not always that a machine works during all these hours. Performance</h3>The performance index in the OEE represents the relationship between the production speed on the line and the speed at which wherein equipment was designed. <Image quality="95" width="363" height="49" src="https://images.prismic.io/voitto-blog/85b888bd-28a5-42f8-a4ae-e12fbb777396_performance-removebg-preview+%282%29.png" alt="Performance Calculation" title="Performance Calculation" />The machine doesn’t work at the ideal speed when there are failures due to the inefficiency of the operators, lack of training of employees and materials that do not meet the desired specification.This machine was supposed to produce 1500 pieces in 18 hours. However, only 1100 pieces were produced, which corresponds to 16 hours of net production, the other 2 hours were lost because the machine worked below the ideal speed.Soon the machine&#39;s performance was: <Image quality="95" width="217" height="49" src="https://images.prismic.io/voitto-blog/b07c7573-252f-4411-a1e9-c776368b9e70_calculet-removebg-preview+%282%29.png" alt="Performance Calculation " title="Performance Calculation " /><h3>3.
